Technical Control: The lighting is managed via Dynalite Networked Controls, which allow for fine-tuning based on building usage.
2. The "Pay Per Lux" Model
Service-Based Procurement: NUS transitioned from owning lighting equipment to a "cradle-to-cradle" rental scheme where they pay for light as a service.
Contractual Terms: Philips maintains responsibility for lighting performance over a 15-year period, including preventative maintenance and annual health checks.
Future-Proofing: The contract ensures that NUS benefits from the latest LED technologies through future replacements during the 15-year term.
